Suggestion: Should I study or not?

I think if you have the following characteristics then you should strongly consider:

• You often have to process a lot of information — reading books, documents, studying online, writing blogs, doing research…

• You want your note-taking/idea system to be more useful (connect, rediscover old ideas, turn notes into new ideas).

• You don’t mind investing time in initial setup, learning how to apply the system.

On the other hand, if you just need simple notes, or don’t want to spend time setting up, or are on a limited budget, you can start with something simpler and then upgrade.
